Hi Lovies!

Taking care of my hair is part of my daily routine. With my long hair this can be a time robbing chore.. Hair products that do the job and do it fast(!) are definitely my cup of tea!

I tried two of the Kérastase Elixir Ultime products, the Rose Millénaireand the Impérial hair oils.

According to Kerastase

Kérastase Elixir Ultime key benefits and uses

• Pre-blow-dry: Apply a couple of drops to mid-lengths and ends to nourish, protect and maximize shine.

My thoughts

At first I was a bit sceptic, thinking that this was just another hair oil.. but after using (and smelling) this, well I can say it was love at first –pump-! Let’s take a closer look at these lovely hair oils..

In real life, the packaging is very nice, but not quite as luxurious looking as in the promotional pictures. The oil is housed in a 125ml plastic bottle with a gold coloured pump.

The oil is pretty light as compared to thick and greasy. It also had quite a runny consistency. A little goes a very long way and spreads easily onto the hair, so only a tiny amount is needed. 

To me the two oils smell very exotic and flowery. I like this scent alot, and so does my boyfriend (he’s always telling me my hair smells great)! 

Although you can use the oils as a precleansing treatment on dry hair, I tend not to use this as a precleanse. Instead I use it as a leave in conditioner/serum and finishing gloss.

As a leave in conditioner on towel dried hair, it made my hair feel more nourished, softer, smoother, and less dry looking. It works well as a serum to control fly-away or frizzy hair and to smooth the ends. Unlike alot of serums, this feels nice and really weightless in my hair. 

If you don't mind spending a little extra for shiny, sleek hair, then I would definitely recommend these Kérastase Hair oils!

"Nivea - Cleansing Products" xoxo

Hi Lovies!

Nivea, the Queen of skin care products, has a few lovely products to remove your make-up. Lately my skin feels restless so some quality products that take care of my sensitive skin are an absolute must!

Luckily the Nivea Double effect Eye make-up remover, the Aqua effect Refreshing Tonic and the Aqua effect Refreshing cleansing milk are the perfect combination for my problem. Say hello to a clean and healthy skin!

Nivea Double Effect Eye make-up Remover

This product glides really smoothly on the skin and it does the job of removing makeup, even the waterproof types that I have. I like the fact that it effectively wipes out gel liners which can be difficult to take off.

When testing an eye make-up remover I always test if the product ‘stings’ my eyes. Unfortunately I do feel a slight sting after removing the makeup.  For a contact lens wearer this can be a major con, so you have to be careful when applying the product.

Besides this little con, this caring bi-phase formula enriched with Cornflower Extract removes even extreme waterproof eye make-up. The sensitive eye area is efficiently cleansed and the eyelashes are protected.

NIVEAAqua Effect Double Effect Eye make-up Remover quickly dissolves even extreme waterproof mascara without any rubbing needed.

How it works?

NIVEA  Double Effect Eye make-up Remover enriched with Cornflower Extract:

• Effectively removes even extreme waterproof mascara and make-up without any rubbing needed

How to use?

Don’t forget to shake well before usage. Apply to a cotton pad and gently cleanses the eye area from the inner to the outer side of the eyes. No rubbing needed.

Nivea Aqua Effect Refreshing Tonic

I Love me some great smelling tonic in the morning! And the Nivea Aqua Effect refreshing tonic does meet my demands. I hate it when a tonic dries out my skin, but with the Nivea one it’s absolutely not the case. I truly recommend this product!

The only negative thing I can say is that this product contains alcohol, which isn’t a great ingredient if you have a sensitive skin. But besides that my skin did feel deeply cleansed.

How it works?

Enriched with vitamin E and Hydra IQ, it effectively cleanses your skin without drying it out.

• Hydrates your skin whilst also removing make-up and daily impurities.
• It can be used to cleanse your sensitive eye area.

How to use?

Apply by gently massaging onto your skin with your finger tips or cotton wool. Remove excess with cotton wool, toner or water.

Nivea Aqua effect Refreshing cleansing milk

A cleasing milk is one of my favorite skin care products. Almost every month I have to buy a new one. My skin just –needs it-. I Love the feeling of a clean and fresh skin in the evening, so I was very eager to try out this cleansing milk.

After using this cleansing milk a few times I can honestly say that there’s a huge difference between this product and your ‘everyday drugstore cleansing milk’. It just cleans and hydrates your skin waaay more. After use, my skin felt toned and cleansed, looking and feeling refreshed all night (or day) long.

How it works?

Enriched with vitamin E and Hydra IQ, gently yet effectively cleanses your skin:

• By hydrating your skin whilst also removing residues.
• The formula invigorates your skin to leave it feeling refreshed.

How to use?

Apply with cotton wool, cleansing your face and neck, avoiding the eye area.

Overall I Love all of the products above. They work great and smell amazing!

"Marc Inbane - Natural Tanning Spray" xoxo

Sit back, relax and let me tell you the story of Ingo, Bart and Nele..

After missing their plane from Amsterdam Schiphol airport, Ingo, Bart and Nele spent the time waiting for the next flight, watching passers-by. They quickly noticed the appearance and posture of the departing and returning passengers. Returning passengers looked radiant, tanned and healthy, which had a positive effect on their posture.

Our busy, hectic lives and the limited hours of sun in our own country make it difficult to retain this holiday glow healthily. And if the sun should shine, you have to contend with harmful UV rays. With the hectic lifestyle, limited hours of sun and harmful UV on the one hand and the radiant retuning passengers on the other, the idea of the natural tanning spray was born: A healthy and safe way to have a natural holiday tan the whole year round.

Ingo, Bart and Nele mixed up their names and soon MARC INBANE was born! 

The natural tanning spray works quickly and simply. You can apply it yourself and the result is a healthy, naturally evenly tanned skin. The natural tanning spray lasts up to 5 days without marks, streaks or the infamous carrot-effect.

How to use?

The natural tanning spray has been developed for frequent use. Before use, shake the bottle well. Hold the bottle approximately 30 cm away from the skin and spray in a flowing motion. Allow the mist to dry for around 10 minutes. This can be speeded up by using a hairdryer. Pay special attention to knees, elbows, toes, etc.

The natural tanning spray lasts up to 5 days and one bottle is enough for up to 60 applications for the face and neck. You will find more tips on using the natural tanning spray below.  

Tips

A few tips for obtaining the best result:

• Shake the bottle well before use
• Remove any light-coloured clothing when applying the natural tanning spray
• If the mist should get on the floor, the shower base, or on your clothing, it is easy to rinse off
• Hold the bottle approximately 30 cm away from the skin
• Spray the natural tanning spray steadily in a flowing motion from left to right, as you would with hairspray
• When you apply the natural tanning spray over your whole body, work from top to bottom
• Use a hairdryer to speed up the drying process (normally 10 minutes)
• Before wearing light-coloured clothes, check that the natural tanning spray has thoroughly dried

The tan?

I tried the Marc Inbane Tanning Spray two times now and I Love it! The tan is very natural and looks like you just came back from a week on the Costa del Sol. Just make sure you don’t use too much because the tan is rather strong. They claim the natural tanning spray bottle is enough for up to 60 applications for the face and neck. That’s a whole year of being tan! Nice!:D

Content?

The tanning spray contains the expensive ingredient erythrulose, which prevents the tan looking orange or yellow. Perfect!

The Price?

It’s a great price for the quality you’re getting €39,95 (200ml).

Conclusion?

I Love this spray! The only thing I would recommend is something to apply the tan. But I think the people at Marc Inbane already heard my prayers.. They are coming up with a Marc Inbane gift set which also contains an application sponge.
